Just so I'm clear ccSCOOP is still up and running, at least to some extend. Sports have been on hold since the end of last school year as the site tries to get their non-profit funding in order. I still may do some free lance work for them and if the budget gets on track I may very well be back with them full time.
I think with the proper funding and people in the right places ccSCOOP has a chance to be a very viable and effective option for local news, especially sports!
Everyone should continue to frequent the site to see what kind of stuff they have going on there. Again with the proper support I think they can provide something really cool and innovative for Columbia County.
